The 18-Year Moat

NCVER VOCSTATS contains VET in Schools (VIS) data from 2006–2024. This is 18 years of enrolment and completion data for qualifications delivered in secondary schools (Years 10–12).

Almost no commercial platform surfaces this data. RTOs that deliver VIS programmes have zero intelligence tooling.

Why It Matters

  • VIS is heavily concentrated in certain training packages: SIT (hospitality), CHC (community services), ICT (technology), CPC (construction), HLT (health)
  • An RTO looking at VIS qual pages sees: "Delivered in secondary schools" badge + 18 years of enrolment trends
  • No competitor has this — it's a genuine differentiator
